The day of this trip has finally come!!..I was really excited as this is the first trip since I've been in Taylor's University. The location of our trip is "Refreshing Springs Resort at Tanjung Malim for a duration of 3 days 2 nights. The whole purpose of this trip is to challenge us by putting ourselves into a different environment besides being in a "concrete jungle" since the beginning of Semester 1 .Not only that, It is also to create a strong bond between our fellow course mates. Each person had to pay approximately RM400 for this trip which includes lodging,food and also our bus fees.
Back to the story, we were told that the bus will initially arrive at 7am.As i was rather excited about the trip, I decided to reach Taylor's Uni by 6.30am. It was really dark at that moment and I could hardly see anyone.LOLS!..the funny thing was that I even passed by my course mates and didn't even realise that they were just nearby me..gosh..I must be that blur ..haha..Anyways, Mr Charles informed us that the bus was delayed and will arrive at 8am..Our meeting point was also shifted from Student Life Center to the Food Court. The bus finally arrived and our journey to Refreshing Springs Resort finally begins! My seat partner was Twinnce and we had a fun time chit-chatting with each other throughout the journey.After a long long long journey..we finally reached gates of Refreshing Springs Resort!..goshh..we were all so excited at that moment!.
When we arrived, Anton and Andrew gave us a warm welcome. Our bags were then loaded into a truck and was taken to the resort area. We had an option of walking to the resort area or actually sitting on a tractor ride. Being the typical lazy me, I decided to sit on the tractor~ tehehehe XD.The ride was around 15minutes and we finally reached our destination. Keys to our chalet were given out and we then proceed into unpacking our luggage.My room number is "K2" and my roommates are Kim,David and Twinnce.We then had lunch at the dining hall. I must say that the food served here is REALLY REALLY REALLY DELICIOUS!..It's mainly home cooking dishes which I really fancy eating :D..After having our scrumptious meal, It was time for our first briefing by Professor Charles.After the briefing, we were ordered to investigate the witch's whereabout with runes and mysterious symbol as clues.To be honest, we couldn't even understand a single thing about the first clue given. It was probably a bundle of unknown alphabets created by Professor Charles.My team was busy cracking our heads trying to figure out this code for almost 2hours+.That's not all~!!, It starting raining cats and dogs halfway through Task 1. Everyone of us was basically running around the whole resort under the rain.After countless attempts,we finally decided to trade 1 token to get the answer for Task 1.We then had to decipher the code according to the clue that Professor Charles gave us". Upon deciphering the code, we had to draw our group name and every members superhero logo on our plain white shirt. Task 2 was rather fun, we had to find out about the different fruit trees around the resort.Task 3 was all about texture rubbing.It is similar to one of Mr Ernesto's assignment.However,instead of doing texture rubbing on a piece of paper, we were required to do it on our shirt.Due to the bad weather,our BBQ night was canceled.
We then proceed to task 4 which was to do a acapella performance infront of Profressor Charles. The song chosen by my group was Bruno Mars - Just the way you are. It was a really hectic situation as we had only 15minutes to rehearse for this .In the end, we still managed to pull it off an perform something amazing for Professor Charles .Sooner then we realized, It was already 12am!. Task 5 was yet to be finished by that night itself. We were require.create our own version of "Smores" .Hahaha..I really enjoyed this task very much.My group decided to make 3 types of smores for Professor Charles which are Marshmallow+Cream Biscuits,Marshmallow+Bika and also Marshmallow+Super Ring.We presented our food to Professor Charles and he was really impressed with what we have "cooked" for him.Now here comes the peak of the night! Our sixth task was to contact "Sally"which was actually Marwa. To be honest, she sounded so scary and everyone was creeped out by that. She read us a riddle and told us another clue to the treasure hunt.After a long long long day of fun and excitement, the simulation has come to a break and all of us went to sleep.
