Assignment 2 (composition)

ASSIGNMENT 2

* Select a subject matter of your liking i.e. door/window/bottle/cup/bin/shoes/eyes/food ..etc

*You will need to hold/stick your frame in every shot as your "view finder" ,using it to compose/crop your shots

* It is OK to take a photo with your hand or fingers in it.

*Shoot at least 50 shots to choose 30 from during tutorials next week

*Select 30 photo's and create a short movie clip using a software of your hcoice

*Give your work a nice title,and you may be creative and add subtitles of narration to make a story

* Be sure to add your name and ID number at the end credits

*Name your files according to your name

*Duration : 2 WEEKS!



Visual Pun

For today's class
Mr Charles taught us about Visual Pun

Visual Pun is actually a combination of two words that creates an object

Example :

(Butter+Fly)

For this group assignment, we have to create a 3D model of our Visual Pun and also create a stop motion video during the whole process of making it.We've decided to go with the word "Hand bag" for this assignment.Stay tuned for the video XD

Stand Up to Cyberbullying

I've decided to go with the topic of "Cyberbullying" for my mind map.I did some research on the topic before I actually started creating my mind map.Below are some information that I've gathered during my research.Enjoy! :)

What is Cyberbullying?

Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place using electronic technology. Electronic technology includes devices and equipment such as cell phones, computers, and tablets as well as communication tools including social media sites, text messages, chat, and websites.  

 

                    
             

 Examples : mean text messages or emails, rumors sent by email or posted on social networking sites, and embarrassing pictures, videos, websites, or fake profiles.

Effects of  Cyberbullying?

• Use alcohol and drugs
• Skip school
• Experience in-person bullying
• Be unwilling to attend school
• Receive poor grades
• Have lower self-esteem
• Have more health problem

Superhero Mind Map

So...this was what my group members came up with :) . It is a mind map on the topic of "What is a superhero?". Each of us were assigned to do different parts of the mind map. This is my outcome ^^

Haha..cute right? It took me quite some time to actually come up with this mind map.Alot of research had to be done prior to creating this mind map.Just a brief description on what is actually written on my mind map.

This superhero lives in a rented apartment . He actually moved out from his aunt's house because she was an alcoholic. He lives alone with a stray cat that he found. He named it Garfield. East Coast High School is where he studies and he is a straight A student.Due to the lack of financial support, he works as a waiter at a diner called "Del Monte". What are his super powers??. Well, he can hypnotize people, has invisibility and also telepathy powers.His mode of transportation is an invisible car or even using his super high tech roller blades that he invented.

Anyways, for our next assignment It is an individual work. Mr Charles ask us to choose any current issues and create a mind map on that chosen topic :)
